Create a sweet little gingerbread-themed envelope. The perfect handmade holder for any gift card! I like to support small local businesses.

Two ways to do this craft. My favorite and to go to is paint!
Circle punch and ribbon optional. I used a bonefolder to make my creases. I will link what I used below.
Look on instagram my video here.
Template of envelope / holder:
Painted Gingerbread House Envelope
Materials:
Template (pdf)
Watercolor paper cut out on template (other paper don't work well with masking fluid)
Painters tape
Brown (cookie color) watercolor paint and paintbrushes
Scissors
Glue dots to secure envelope flap
Steps:
Pre-cut or trace an envelope template onto watercolor paper.
Tape down with painters tape at the back
Use masking fluid to draw house details on the paper
Let the masking fluid dry completely.
Paint the entire envelope shape in warm gingerbread/cookie browns. Splatter with some darker paint.
When dry, rub off the masking fluid to reveal crisp white “snow / icing.” Use a
or fingers
Fold and glue the envelope, leaving the top flap open for the gift card.
Result: A hand-painted gingerbread house envelope that looks deliciously real!
