DREAM CREATE INSPIRE
October...
We had such a wonderful time on our Greece Art Retreat! Delicious food, ALL the feta! inspiring art, and so many lovely memories—I’ve come home with a full heart and a sketchbook that still needs filling. I’m also happy to report that my travel easel worked beautifully!
Island time taught us to slow down and go with the flow… although I sometimes like to steer that flow a little—or at least know a few more details about the flow! All things considered, it was an awesome adventure.
We explored the Temple of Aphaia and Aegina Town, enjoyed a pistachio tour, and visited the beautiful Agios Nektarios Monastery. Yesterday afternoon, I spent some quiet time in my journal, finishing the spread from our monastery visit and reliving those moments.
There’s still so much to draw! Thankfully, the inspiration came home with me.
Now I’m ready to dive back into a full schedule! I have two very fun acrylic commissions to paint, along with a few watercolors for a wedding invitation. There are also some lovely art events coming up, including a live wedding painting, a birthday party, and more. Plenty of creativity to keep my brushes busy!
This Friday, October 23rd I am at Sherman Gardens for my watercolor class.
