Book of Potions Drawing & Painting Tutorial

A Whimsical Witch Hat in Watercolor
Never just walk by stuff and not try to paint it! Saw this in a shop and loved this ideas soooo here we are LOL
Also drawing it with you but you can just do the template too and then forward to the painting part.
Sooooo get into the Halloween spirit with this fun and slightly spooky witchy hat.
Begin with a light pencil sketch of the crooked witch hat and the book underneath. Then add a soft first wash (our hightlight color) using blues and purles to create a beautiful black. IYKYK I love that combo, Payne Gray can also work or of course just black. Jump around on painting to give layers enough time to dry.
The orange band adds the perfect pop of Halloween color, while the little skull, spiders, star, and buckle bring the character to life.
Remember, watercolor doesn’t have to be perfect. Let the paint move, keep some edges loose, and most importantly—have fun creating your own magical Halloween hat!
I was also thinking to say (your name here) book of Potions... May be to long but could be cute as a card and then you can add a recipe in there to give to someone.
