How it Works:

GATHER YOUR SUPPLIES.

GET A WATER, A COFFEE OR A TEA AND SNACKS.

SHOW UP AT LOCATION

PAINT WHAT YOU SEE AND HAVE FUN.
My set up is very informal. I keep it simple.
What to bring:
Art Journal / Paper (maybe a clipboard)
Painters Tape
Watercolor Paint (or paint of your choice)
Water Cup
Different sizes brushes
Towel
Pencil & Eraser (maybe a pen)
Phone / Ipad / tablet (something to take a photo with)
Hat, sunscreen, snacks, water etc for yourself.

So many cute things to see and paint on Balboa. Let's meet there to paint. Be flexible, we never know what we can run into when we get there. Let's meet at 9:30 at Succulent Coffee Roasters.

M.E. Helme House Furnishing Co
August 24 - 9:30 am
For our next plein air painting adventure I suggest we go to Huntington Beach, M. E. Helme House, August 24 at 9:30am. I was doing some research on places to visit and was thinking we should try all kinds of locations. The beach set up was really nice and we had a great time. I think an urban sketch experience with some buildings can be fun too. So I suggest we meet at the historical building, M.E. Helme House Furnishing Company and Worthy House. It is also an antique store.
I hope it is still in business and may try to swing by to check it out before we meet there.

Montage, Laguna Beach
July 7th - 9:30 am
The beach set up July 7th at the Montage in Laguna Beach was wonderful and we had a great time painting. The Gloom was still with us and it really made it so nice to sit outside. Then the sun came out!
