Self Love Painting Workshop

January 25, 2017

Join Erna van Dyk for a painting workshop where you will paint SELF LOVE and learn a fun painting process that, step-by-step, layer-by-layer, and color on top of sacred messages to yourself on top of intention…Embracing both the dark and the light side and accepting yourself for who you are. Restore the relationship you have with yourself and prepare yourself for the transformation that will take place in your heart. In this workshop you will create a multi-media acrylic painting on canvas of a feminine figure that will capture the essence of what you want to create in the art that is your LIFE. There will be a short meditation to open your heart and to allow for the heart to receive.

Self-love is a such a popular term today in normal conversations. "You have to love yourself more." "Why don't you love yourself?" "If you only loved yourself, this wouldn't have happened to you." These are only a few terms we use.

Self-love is important to living well. It influences you, and is so important to your overall well being that you should bring it more of it into your life.

What is self-love, then? It is not something you can buy, no. Even if you feel good after you bought something nice, it is short lived. Self-love is not simply a state of feeling good.

Self-love is a state of appreciation for oneself. Accepting our weaknesses as well as our strengths. Trying our best, but have less need to explain ourselves and make excuses. With a gentle push to try harder and a tender acknowledgement when you are not giving your best.
